HMS Victory

HMS Victory is a truly iconic historical asset. Its role in the life, and death in 1805, of Admiral Lord Nelson, an event of worldwide significance, gives the ship a unique role, bridging the past to the present, as it retains, the title of Flagship of the First Sea Lord, making her the oldest commissioned warship in the world.
Campbell Smith & Co were retained by the Museum of the Royal Navy to undertake investigation and decoration of the Middle and Lower Gun Decks as part of the programme of preservation of this most significant heritage asset.
